The Barcelona City Council, through the Municipal Institute of Housing and Renovation (IMHAB), has launched the allocation process for 163 public homes with official protection under the rental system, located in the Bon Pastor neighborhood of Barcelona.
These homes in this district of Sant Andreu are surplus after the relocation process of all the families affected by the urban redevelopment in the area, and are now available to families who need it and meet the stipulated requirements.
You can consult the regulatory bases for this process, as well as the provisional list of persons admitted in each lottery, below.
Provisional list of persons admitted
Appeals to the list may be filed within a period of 10 business days, counted from the day following the publication of the list in question. Appeals must be processed by any legal means, preferably through an application filed in the IMHAB registry (at Doctor Aiguader street, 36). Access requires a prior appointment, which can be requested by calling 010.
In the first place, an initial allocation will be made to family splits that occur within the family units constituted among the relocated and that meet the stipulated requirements, while subsequently, in case there are remaining houses, residents of the Bon Pastor neighborhood who also meet the required requirements will be considered.
The common and specific requirements of the call, the typology of the protected housing, and other relevant information can be consulted in the terms and conditions of the process.
The extensive remodeling of Bon Pastor
In 2003, the Barcelona City Council and the Bon Pastor Neighborhood Association signed an agreement for the renovation of the affordable housing complex in Bon Pastor, planned in four phases. Currently, the fourth and final phase is underway, which includes the construction of five blocks with a total of 244 housing units.
