The Full Council has agreed to grant Incasol the use of ten sites in the city to build 582 homes with social rents. The blocks will be located in the districts of Sants-Montjuïc and Sant Martí and are expected to be available before the first quarter of 2029.
The move forms part of the first stage of a collaboration agreement with the Government of Catalonia, which should generate a total of 1,700 homes in the city and a more inclusive and sustainable construction model.
The new blocks will give priority to energy management and the rational use of resources during both the construction process and the useful life of the buildings.

- Carrer del Doctor Trueta, 130-134: 28 homes

- Carrer de Binèfar, 30-40: 209 homes
- Carrer d’Àvila, 96: 34 homes
- Carrer del Marroc, 124-126: 20 homes
The agreement between Barcelona City Council and the Government of Catalonia responds to one of the municipal government priorities set out in the Pla Viure to guarantee people’s right to decent and affordable housing.
