A total of twelve households formalized, on Tuesday, October 10, the signing of the rental contract for their new homes, which are part of the set of 163 available housing units in the Bon Pastor neighborhood, following the relocation of families affected by the urban redevelopment of the area.
In this way, all the families have taken the final step in the procedure to access a new home, following the lottery that determined the recipients and took place on June 30.
Specifically, the housing units signed so far correspond to Block G1 and are located at Carrer de Claramunt, 55, and Carrer de Salomó, 1-7. These housing units, consisting of two to three bedrooms, are intended for individuals under 35 years of age, single-parent families, individuals with disabilities who do not require adapted housing, and family splits.
Gradually, it is expected that all the favored household units from the lottery will formalize their contracts and access their respective homes, located in various parts of this neighborhood in the city of Barcelona.
This procedure is part of the agreement signed in the year 2003 between the Barcelona City Council and the Bon Pastor Neighborhood Association for the redevelopment of the low-cost housing complex in the neighborhood, planned in four phases. Currently, the fourth phase is in progress, which includes the construction of five blocks with a total of 244 housing units.
